HIDE AND SEEK
by Pastor Mike Fortune

- Some secrets are hidden because we refuse to seek (Luke 10:21; Hosea 4:6)
- Godly fathers teach us about our heavenly father (Luke 10:22; Psalm 144:12,15)
- Thank a father for seeking (Luke 10:23-24,21; Psalm 25:14; John 6:44; Peter Getz & Josibelk Aponte)
21 At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way."
6 My people are being destroyed because they don't know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.
22 "My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
12 May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace. 15 Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the LORD.
23 Then when they were alone, he turned to the disciples and said, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen. 24 I tell you, many prophets and kings longed to see what you see, but they didn't see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn't hear it." 21 At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you..."
Psalm 25:14 (Scripture)
14 The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.
44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me.
