In recent years it has become popular for many Christians to take mission trips abroad. This is commendable service; however, it is more and more apparent that we have a growing mission field right here in Toledo. Thousands and thousands are living and dying without the knowledge of a Savior. They don’t know that they are created to live forever and that Jesus came to live, and die, for them.
It is our desire to do our best to fulfill the Great Commission quoted above from the book of Matthew.
Connections, a contemporary style worship service has been created for the purpose of reaching out to those who have never known Jesus. In addition we welcome those who have had prior experience with church life and for whatever reason you’ve not found a church that understands you. We want to be that church. If you are bored in church, or feel left out, or maybe you are burned out and exhausted, we want to be able to minister to you.

37"…Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. "
We have a dream of a place where the hurting, the hopeless, the discouraged, the depressed, the frustrated and the confused can find love, acceptance, guidance and encouragement. We have the dream of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with thousands of residents in Lucas County. We have the dream of people growing together in spiritual maturity through Bible studies, and fellowship loving, laughing and learning together, understanding God's wonderful plan and living life to its greatest potential.
So, what is Connections? It’s a place where you can be accepted as you are. You won’t be judged. You won’t be put on the spot. You will be fed physically and spiritually. You may come as you are, we worship in a relaxed environment.
We hope that as you come week after week you will discover a warm friendly place where you can learn about Jesus and make new friends and relationships and gain new insight for your life.
